After graduating from the Faculty of Dentistry he worked at the Oral Surgery Department of the Clinic of Dentistry and Oral Surgery in Szeged where he took his qualifying exam in Dental and Oral Diseases in 1986 and in Oral-, Facial-, and Jaw Surgery in 1990. He got involved in the scientific and educational activities of the Oral Surgery Department gradually; in 1991 he was appointed assistant professor while in 1995 he became a university lecturer.
He frequently takes part in national and international conferences and several of his publications were issued in different professional magazines. He gave scientific lectures among others in Brussels, Linz, Helsinki and Edinburgh.
He worked as a guest doctor in many foreign clinics and hospitals. He worked as chief medical director in the Hospital of Wels (Austria) for a year and then he spent several months in the Oral Surgery Department of the Hospital of Al Ain in the United Emirates.
After moving to Sopron he opened his surgery in the heart of the city centre of Sopron together with his wife, Dr Tímea Wicker in 1992.
In their “high-tech”, modern surgery with five treatment units all dental branches are represented on a high level (implantology, periodontology, endodontics ,orthodontics, prosthetics, aesthetic dentistry, prophylaxis).
Four out of the six dentists working in this praxis used to work in university clinics as lecturers so we can say that this surgery is a “small dental clinic”.
He has four children. His hobbies are music and sport.
